MY FIRST STORY!

Mean Girls! A story for kids…

I was dreading going back to school again. I didn’t think I could bear one more push or whack or punch. I couldn’t bear to hear their spiteful, smug voices saying horrible things to me. I couldn’t bear one more person laughing at my clothes and my hair, or calling me a nerd or geek or freak or loser. I couldn’t bare even seeing Chelsea, Joanie, Lily or Amber one more time. They were the school bullies. They were pretty and popular, and everyone looked up to them. They were the meanest, most horrible people I knew! Joanie was tall and skinny, with dark black glossy hair that went all the way down her back. She was skinny and looked weak – but she was very strong. She’d beaten me up pads of times AND she’s dragged me across the hall and dumped me in a bin. “There! Here’s where you belong, Tessa!” she had said. “In a bin full of rubbish – because you are rubbish! You’re a waste of space. Nobody wants you.” I hate Joanie – but she’s not the worst of all of them. Lily is tall and slim with long, very straight blonde hair. She wrecks all my property, writes “Loser!” and “Freak!” and “Weirdo!” on my books and lockers and loves humiliating me. Still not the worst! Amber and tall and slim with honey-colored skin, amber eyes and long dark curly hair. She calls me really mean names and spreads rumors about me. Amber is the biggest gossip in the school! Still to the worst! The worst is Chelsea. She’s tall and slim. She has gorgeous long blond wavy hair down to her bottom and has the most beautiful blue eyes. She’s like a queen – no, no, a GOD! Everybody did what she said. She doesn’t have her own bullying technique. She used all THREE of the techniques! I hate hate hate Chelsea.

I walked slowly and cautiously up the school yard. I knew Chelsea and her crew were there – i could see them. I tried not to look in there direction. “Well, well!” It was Chelsea. I jumped. “It’s Tessa!” she said, grabbing me and yanking me towards her, her eyes gleaming. “Back at school again!” I tried to pull away but Chelsea had me. Joanie, Lily and Amber rushed towards me. They were all speaking so fast together I couldn’t make out what they were saying. “Well!” Everyone was quiet and I heard Amber talking. “Get new books and pencils and biros and stuff?” “Y-yes…” I said. “Good!” said Amber. “I lost some of my stuff.” She grabbed my schoolbag sand yanked it off my back. She shoved me aside and started poking around in my bag. She suddenly stopped, her eyes wide. She pulled out tickets. My tickets to my favorite band’s concert! I had forgotten to take them out. “Tickets!” Amber screeched. “To ‘Out Of The Blue”s concert!” “Out Of The Blue?” Joanie shrieked. “My fav band! They’re going to be singing their new song at their concert! What’s it called again?” “It’s called ‘Where I Belong’!” Lily rushed over, grabbing a ticket and staring at it like it was a bar of gold! “SERIOUSLY? Tessa has tickets to the concert?” Chelsea made her way through the small crowd and snatched the last ticket. She looked up. “You never told us you got tickets to their concert, Tessa!” she snapped. “But…” I began. “There’s four tickets! One for each of us!” Lily said. “What? No! Give those back!” I said, trying to snatch my tickets. Joanie held them way out of reach. “Dream on!” she said. She grinned. “Do you know where you belong, Tessa?” she asked, eyes gleaming. “Um, I…” I began, a bit confused. “I know where you belong!” Joanie went on. “Why don’t we show you, Tessa? So that you’ll know where you belong?” I gulped. This wasn’t going to be fun. I tried to run but Lily caught hold of me. She smiled at Joanie. “Yes, Tessa!” she said. “Let’s show you where you belong.”

I’ll write a Part 2 if people like Part 1! Thanks!
